It's hard to believe that I have spent my last night in Melbourne and what a way to spend it!! Being surrounded by the very best of friends and family that I have made in all walks of life is truly a remarkable experience.
So the speech was a bit of a surprise and I wasn't expecting it at all, thanks Cyn!! I probably babbled and repeated myself and didn't really say what I wanted to say so let me try again in the form of words.
I really want to thank you all, especially my mum and family for all the support, advice and friendship that you have given me. I could never be the person that I am without you all in my life. Finding such great friends everywhere you go is not always a given so I only hope that I am able to find myself some truly remarkable friends on the other side of the world, not to replace any of you, but to recreate the fantastic life and friendships that I will miss so much back home.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I'll miss the good times and laughs that we had together, but as I said, we only say good bye until we meet again.
