I am a true believer in that thinking that things happen for a reason. Good things, bad things, happy things and sad things. They all have their place in life and shape us in to the people that we are and those that we will become.
For me, having to leave Zoe behind was hard but I would not be where I am today if I hadn't. I wouldn't have met my wonderful friends, I wouldn't have had the same experiences and life would have been different.
I am very grateful for all the experiences that I have come across and I am especially grateful to the friends that have helped make Doha feel like home!!
Here are some random snaps that I have taken throughout the week. They aren't all that exciting but it's something at least.
The Women's Hospital in the distance
My stocked up pantry after a visit to the local Family Food Centre.
The Fuji apples on steroids that I found. I don't think they are the Fuji apples that I bought in Australia, but I had to give them a try...which I am yet to do.
My treat after a days work. Ice cream and Once Upon A Time. Great series for those who are in two minds about it!!
The Nandos I found walking home one night. It was the restaurant we celebrated surviving our first week of work at.
Two of my good friends. Aamina on my left is my flat mate and Aaliyah on my right is my work mate. Life wouldn't be the same without them!!
